The 2018 Claude Pepper Outstanding Government Lawyer Award Nominations


Each year, The Florida Bar Government Lawyer Section honors one public servant as the recipient of the Claude Pepper Award for extraordinary and exemplary contributions to our profession.

The 2018 winner was Richard Jay Weiss, who spent 39 years representing, counseling and advocating for numerous governmental entities.

E-filing software updates to address uniformity concerns

A coming change to the Florida courts e-filing portal is aimed at making it easier for lawyers to choose the “document type” when they are electronically filing court documents.
